The mission of the Holy Ghost Society of Lowell is to furnish a place and means to promote education, recreation, social, religious and civic activities among its members. The primary religious function is the celebration of the Feast of the Pentecost, otherwise known as the Feast of the Holy Ghost. In addition, this Society shall work to preserve and promote the ethnic heritage, tradition, and culture of the Portuguese community in the Greater Lowell area and surroundings.
Additionally, the Society manages affordable function hall space. The space is available for rent. This enterprise is exclusively for the benefit of our not-for-profit mission.

Cost of Membership
Membership in the Society must be renewed on a yearly basis by the payment of dues. Dues cover the period of January 1 through December 31 of any given year, and shall be paid no later than March 31 of that year. (NOTE: Members of the Society have voted to extend the March 31st deadline this year.)
